My name is Alex Martin Smith, and I'm a Nashville-based writer, designer, photographer and musician, among other things. Most of my professional experience has come in the journalism industry. I was a full-time staffer at Cox Media Group (Atlanta Journal-Constitution, SEC Country, DawgNation, Land of 10, etc.) from 2015-2018 until CMG made the tough decision to lay off dozens of workers and shut the websites I was primarily working on.
